The FP8800 Flame Photometer is used for the simple and precise measurement of alkaline concentrations in aqueous solutions for analytical applications. It was developed especially for industrial applications. Provides the highest accuracy reading of any flame photometer on the market, especially ideal for Potassium purification. It features a PROFIBUS DP and two Ethernet interfaces for computer-aided process control (SPC). Two USB-ports allow data export (e.g. in .csv format) or firmware updates via USB flash drive.

The FP8800 features the use of propane or butane as a fuel which allows up to three elements to be measured simultaneously. Purified and dried air is required for measurement. Measurements can be performed with or without internal standards. Standard solutions are used for calibration, while control solutions are used to verify results. All samples, controls and standards are entered manually. The device can be flexibly customized to the users request.
